reclaiming missold endowment mortgages

Hi - I recently started a claim for mis-sold PPI through the Resolver tool. During one of the conversations I had with the person investigating my claim, it was mentioned that I should also pursue a claim for the endowment mortgage I was sold as well.

Does anyone know how I go about this please?

Get in a TARDIS and travel back to the early 2000s.

Over 3/4 of endowments are timebarred from complaint now. Most were able to start the timebar clock between 2002 and 2005 and by 2009, most become barred.

The barring rules are that you have to complain within 3 years from being reasonably aware of an issue. If the mid rate projection on statements was showing a shortfall, that is enough to start the three year clock. Alternatively, if the plan matured with a shortfall, the maturity date can be used to trigger the three year clock.
Not all firms use the timebar but most do.
