I have apparently just earned $25 from an affiliate link on my blog. I'll be amazed if the money ever gets to my bank account but if it does, how would I pay tax on this income? Would I have to fill out a self assessment form? To be honest, I doubt I'll ever make any much more from affiliate marketing and for very low sums it seems more trouble than it's worth if I have to do self-assessment. (I have a job and am a normal rate tax payer.)

I don't think I thought this affiliate business through properly!!

Thank you.
