Excellent the more the merrier we can keep each other going.

Brilliant idea with the sandwiches. I have no excuse really to be honest and I could quite easily make them at the same time as I do my daughters dinner or ours and stick them in the fridge.

maybe we should set up daily reminders on computers or on mobile phone alarms for the typical time we're making dinners/could make our sandwiches so we dont forgot to do them..

i.e if you typically make dinner for the family at 7pm, have a reminder go off at 7:10 which says sandwiches for tomorrow!

  • I have only put in cold meat, I shouldn't think lettuce etc would fair too well. I am not very imaginative when it comes to sarnies. My favourite (and easy) lunch is those 2 minute in microwave rice packets, obviously you need a microwave at work . They cost just over a £1 each and really fill you up plus lots of flavours available now, mine is mushroom.
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

  • Hey everyone,

Am totally up for the challenge, will be very hard but even if I do only half it's more than doing no challenge at all.

I would love to clear my hubby's Vanquis card which currently stands at £1005, this is the highest APR.

I'm doing a few challenges come the new year, it would be nice to complete all of them.

Why don't you start a 'Doodledo's Clear A Debt by 1st April 08 Challenge' thread, like snaggles says, others can get inspiration from it and I prefer to read threads like that rather than emails, or is that just me being fussy.

    Look forward to the challenge

    Hi everyone,

I think I need to join you in the making lunch thing, when I was a DFW I would religously make sandwiches every night for the next day and if I failed to do that it was soft cheese on ryvita (bit of punishment!) Recently I have been going back to the sandwich bar, and although I am no longer in debt I really don't want to start wasting my money when I know I can make just the same food for a fraction of the cost.
If you have a microwave soup is a good idea, it really fills me up, just buy a tin and bring in a slice or 2 of bread (or if you're feeling particularly brave you can make it yourself!).
    Good luck with the challenge!
