You generally find IFAs obtain the best annuity rates when the fund is over around £25k. Non-advised annuities can still collect commission. Whereas IFAs have to be fee based. You tend to find that from around £25k plus, the fee is lower than the commission and the impact on the annuity rate.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
