Quark?! What do you have it with?

Never heard of this before! I am currently on a diet and this came out #1 for best calories in the cheese category

https://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/wellbeing/best-and-worst-cheeses-for-your-diet-the-healthiest-cheese-on-the-shelves-35147 (Scroll to the bottom)

The Tesco picture has strawberries with it which seems a bit weird.

So, how do you have your Quark?!

The strawberry one is lovely as is vanilla, plain you can make saucs, dips, use in quiche, can also have with fruit instead of yoghurt

So it is more to go with sweet stuff rather than savoury?
  • Only ever had it as savoury.

I used it as part of a slimming world New York salad dressing recently recently.

Know other people like to stir a sachet of the options hot chocolate into a pot. Not quite ventured there yet! :D

I sometimes add it to muesli and yoghurt, to give an extra protein boost. Cinnamon helps take away some of the slightly sour flavour it can have.
