Hi there,

I realise very much this is subjective and will differ depending on a whole host of other factors...however, thought I would seek different opinions anyway! ;)

- Assuming a £200k deposit (on sale of current property)
What % of net or gross income would you recommend max for a mortgage? Assuming no more than 80% LTV.

Thoughts welcome!

There'll be lender for you. Whether it's sensible to borrow a sum that large. Is a question for you to answer. Only you know the job security that you have and whether the income level will continue for the duration of the mortgage term. Likewise there's more to life than working simply to repay a debt.

With a annual income of the size you have. Reducing the borrowing requirement should be an easy objective to achieve.
