Compatible or not?

Hello,
Does anyone know if compatible inks will work in my Epson DX7400 printer? I have been reading that some of the newer model printers will not take compatibles Thanks for any advice.

lots of compatible manufacturers will guarantee their products so is there a particular brand you were looking at?

Any compatible will do, as long as it works in my Epson DX7400.

I bought a DX 5050 in may 2007 and the first compatible cartridges were accepted fine(just the usual not genuine message). When I tried to replace a compatible with a compatible they were not recognised.
What I did, was take out the new compatible and put an empty epson original (which I had saved),
it showed up empty of course , so I then replaced it with the compatible and it was accepted!!
It looks like Epson are playing silly !!!!!!s to make life difficult for anyone not buying their product...scandalous!

there is a couple of different versions that all.

to be honest I would buy the latest version cartridges as the price difference is very little especially when compared to genuine epson
