perhaps because this has a (high value) prize up for grabs everyday, so worth entering everyday. Whereas the mds have only one prize over the whole entry period so it doesn't really matter if you miss several days
it doesn't bother me if these threads are bumped or not as there are pros and cons. It obviously helps some people and can easily be ignored by those not needing it

Ok I am now going to bump other daily entries for me rather than use a bookmark which I have done previously.
It will screw up the board for other users but I realise that is now the way of the world.

A few Forumites have asked us to clarify this point to clear up confusion on this point.
We ask that Forumites don't "Bump" threads on the various boards just for the sake of it. Obviously if there is information that needs to be added then it is fine to respond.
