Wait for P11D?

So I received m6 P60 and hoped the information there will be enough to fill in my self assessment. However, I don’t see any taxable benefits in there, and I realise they are in P11D which will take another couple of months to receive. How people who have one PAYE job and benefits fill out self assessment? Do I need to go through every payslip and sum these benefits up or should I eat for P11D?

    A lot

Are they actually shown on your payslips? Are your benefits put through the payroll or are they taken into account by altering your tax code?

Are you in a particular rush to file the return?

They are shown on my payslips. These are health insurance and wellness benefits that depend on the amount I spend each month.

I am not in rush, just want to get it done.

If they are on your pay slip is it possible that these are being taxed via a 'Payrolled' scheme where the monthly value of the 'benefits' are added to your taxable pay and tax then deducted from the total value of each month's salary rather than being taxed by a deduction to your tax code?

If they are being 'payrolled' then you dont need a P11d as they will be included on your P60's total taxable pay figure.

Check your payslios to see if the monthly taxable value is equal to your taxable salary plus the benefits. If so it would generally mean you wont get a P11d (unless you have other taxable benefits) because the tax has already been accounted for and included in the pay/tax figures on the P60.

Alternatively check with your payroll department how your medical benefits are accounted for, for tax purposes.
