Does your girlfriend feel the same way?

She told me she wasn't when I was round the other day while OP was out :rotfl:

Stick it out. Try and save some money for a year or two and then move if you still feel the same.

Both if I’m honest but mainly the property thanks

Personalise it. Make the property your home. Paint a wall or two.

Don't make any rash decisions. 2 weeks isn't a very long time. Is this the first time you have both lived on your own? If so, it's a big change and will take time to get used to. As to it feeling like home, sometimes it takes a bit of effort. Furnish it to your taste, paint the walls hang stuff up etc. The feeling of home doesn't always "just happen like magic".

Hi I’ve just got my first mortgage through Halifax with my girlfriend and have moved in a property about 2 weeks ago and I am instantly regretting it at the time seemed like it was right thing to do and was really excited about it we are both away from our families and wish we never went ahead with it what can we do about this any advice would be appreciated thanks

I think you need to work out why you feel this way.

Go back to why you wanted to buy somewhere together have those reasons vanished?

Is this the first time you have lived together?

    Where did you live before?

How far away are your families?

    What working hours?

Did you cook your dinner wash your own clothes etc. before?

    ...

AS others have said it is kind of a 6 month period before you can get out so why not invest that time making the place better.

You might get to fall in love with the place but if not you will have had time to work out(together) what you really want for the next move.
