Mortgage/Maternity

Hey guys need advice

So I've got a mortgage with principality currently selling and buying a house

I can get a mortgage I principle for myself for 125k or with my partner for 205k

My partner is coming on the mortgage as I need a 250k mortgage

Problem is she is on maternity and I've got my application tomorrow.

Am I worrying over nothing or is there things I need to know before applying

Thank you

I'm not sure what the question is.

If it is whether your partner's income will count while on maternity - Yes, plenty of mainstream lenders will consider the return-to-work pay for affordability. Along with latest payslips, you will in all likelihood require a letter from the partner's employer stating that she is currently on maternity, due to return on xxx on an annual salary of xxx.

Assuming that you are using a broker, he/she has probably placed you with a suitable lender who will treat as above.
