Mortgage Application - Visa

HI all,
My partner and I are applying for a joint mortgage with a bank - partner as British citizen and me with spouse visa.
We have got the mortgage offer, no valuation is needed since the valuation was done within 3 months. Were told it was proceed to the underwriting part.
What concerns me is, the advisor didn't actually take a look of my visa permit, let alone take a copy of it (he said we have A-passed the credit check, so the visa shouldn't be a problem ). Anyone has experience in mortgage with visa holder ? Do you still member what document was required ? ( I have seen quite a few posts saying mortgage got approved and declined, which is really worrying!)
Thanks

Why are you saying that you got a mortgage offer but the case is still to proceed to the underwiting?
You would never get the OFFER before the undrewriting has passed.
Which bank are yoy applying with?0 -
