in Cutting tax
Hi
My daughter last employer ( a big nursery nurse company ) made a number of mistakes on her payslips which meant she was charged too much tax. Despite numerous emails, letters, calls etc to have copies of the payslips ( they stored them electronically on their own system ) she h still been unable to get any information from them. They are still in business and doing well.
What would be the best next course of action ?.. should we contact the tax office ro will they simply ask us for evidence which we dont have
any advice would be great
thanks

What tax year (or years) does this relate to?
Has she looked at her Personal Tax Account on gov.uk to see what information has been sent to HMRC by the employer?0 -
I also recommend having a look via her personal tax account online. Was your daughters wage slips not available to her electronically via email or other login system?0

No P45 - or is this outdated?
If she completes a tax return for 2018/2019 and continues in PAYE in 2019/2020 any overpayment of tax should automatically be refunded/offset.0 -
I'll check all that information thanks0
