Maturing pension question?

My SW pension matures in January, should I receive my pension then?
I read that some only pay yearly in arrears.

Money purchase pensions do not mature any more (a few caveats apply).

Not unless you ask for it.

That is one option. Rare that it is. There are other options.

The 'maturity ' date can be ignored but more importantly if you are thinking of taking an income from your pension you need to be aware of the different options .
