How does this compare, in terms of pounds per hour, with earning minimum wage just doing a normal job? Without knowing that, it's impossible to tell if it's a money-spinner or just a badly paid job.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

I assume this was declared to the HMRC?

If you are on benefits you need to tell the DWP as well.

I see how you can make decent money from this, but I downloaded BeMyEye and the PC World missions local to me for example had so much info to remember about processors, memory boards etc there's no way I could do it without looking at my phone and giving away that I'm a mystery shopper. Money to be had but it's sure difficult to get it for a fiver.

Seems easy if you don't realise you have to do a tax return. As Calley says, it can complicate matters if on benefits too.

When I did video mystery shopping, you could earn a reasonable hourly rate by going out and doing jobs all day. No big deal, really.

First thing I thought too. I'm 100% sure just doing a part time job for a couple of days a week pays better per hour/year than this kind of crap.
