Your best bet is to wait till the details of the csa payments arrive & get in touch with Income Support, you can't rely on the csa being right about not having to tell the others.Winnings

If you were not on benefits for the period of the assessment then the money is due to you - Had it been paid at the time, then you would still be making a claim for income support now. The periods don't link up .0

The CSA are the most unorganised bunch of idiots ever. If they told me it was November I'd check my calender.
I telephoned them because I spotted a mistake and I wanted to pay more. That was about three months ago, about six letters and I'm still not any further forward.
Get everything in writing and try to avoid speaking to them by phone. Communicate either by letter or e-mail. That way you can at least prove what they tell you.;)0 -

I would check with all the other benefits, although it used to be the case that maintnenace was deducted from housing benefits etc even if you weren't actually getting it, in which case you shouldn't have to have it deducted twice!0

well actually spoke to csa today lovely lady that is dealing with the arrears (actually kept to her word and rang me when she said she would) it will not affect my benefits as i was working at time arrears are due from and its money due from then he.... also owes money from when i was on benefits which the csa say belongs to them as i had benefits paid to me.. But they are making sure i am paid 1st.. she is also sending me out a letter to state what period the arrears are due from and that it will not affect any of my benefits..... just waiting for him to pay now.. csa should of recieved money on monday 19th but they havent they have been intouch with the company he works for but they are not answering the phone so if they have not recieved payment or a reply from his company by next wednesday they are sending someone in for face to face to collect the money.£2 savers club -- £2 (£60 banked)/ 20p savers club -- 20p (£12 banked) started 13/03/2008 :j 5p/2p/1p/ -£5.10
