SIPP tax relief difference

My partner and I opened a SIPP before April 6th this year with £2880 each, I did the same the following tax year and so did my partner. Tax relief has been added to our accounts, £720 and £980..... anyone know why there's different amounts? Many thanks and have a happy Holiday.

Sounds like a mistake, unless you actually put 3920 into one of them
  • Might be worth checking whoever's SIPP it is to see exactly what the (net) contributions were.

Any chance (optimistic, this!) the difference could actually be investment growth rather than tax relief...?

DOH.....I had £260 cash in my account, so adding that to the £720 tax relief equals the £980.

    Must pay more attention.

    Thanks for the help Guys.

Deductions of 25% for one but 34% emergency tax for the other.
