I'm a newbie and i'd like to know - does money-saving in IT really exist? And how? And what is it? Becouse... at first glance - it's very simple: to buy only what is need and not more. But how to know - what exactly? I mean for cafe or restaurant. How to organize the best information stream in such places? Thank you

No. I mean simple (non internet) cafe or restaurant. It's needed to organize a data base (let every client note wat will be likely for him to see there) to improve and develop the place quickly with client's wishes. Idea is to make the most responsible to client's requests cafe... (to keep visitors) And I was interested - perhaps some special software exist. Thank for your answers!0

From what I can gather, what you are looking for is an information website for your cafe, which will show your current menu, and perhaps have an ordering / pre-booking service available as well.
If this is the case, then you can design all types of software (database, spreadsheet, php script) quite easily to run the website, but as it needs to be real time, you will have to ensure that your staff are all fully conversant with the systems in place. If the information is not kept up to date with immediate changes, then you run into problems with double bookings, particular menu items not being available on request etc, etc.
As with all information based websites, the IT is only as good as the people running it.
There may indeed be some 'special' software available, but TBH, this could be ludicrously expensive for what you need. Shop around with webhosting companies. Most offer a simple design service, or may already have a template for exactly what you need.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

Thanks for your advice, dear criminal_smile!
I've already thought about a special website... And gradually I like it more and more! It 'll be the main feature of my cafe. Or even relaxation centre...0
