Notice to Landlord

Hi Guys

Mortgage has been offered. Just waiting for the letter to come through the post and the Broker says it could take a few days to come through.

At what point would people recomend giving notice to my landlord? We’re on a rolling contract. We have a very good relationship with him so could it be worth just informing him it’s imminent?

Cheers

Ours is due to renew at the end of July and we get the keys 1st Aug. I was planning on notice when they asked us to renew but go onto a rolling monthly agreement incase of any glitches.
