Probably quicker would be dropping an email asking for a transfer out form.
As for taking my money out, it suits me as i have already retired and have a source of income and i only have 13 years worth of membership. I am not paying into this anymore.

Neither having 'only' 13 years of membership nor being a deferred member are reasons for transferring out (though being a deferred member is a prerequisite).
So waiting until i am 66 is pointless.

Ignoring the hyperbole, why 66? How long ago was the 13 years?
My way of thinking is i transfer out and then i can draw down each year under the tax threshold till theres nothing left and effectively get the whole lot tax free.

How does this plan compare with taking an early pension? Although, you would indeed need the CETV figure (+ knowledge of IFA fees) to properly answer that.
