Promotion codes for free DVD trials?

My friend says he has some promotion codes for DVD trials (will post them once I've got hold of them). I have had free trials with companies in the past and have just finished (today actually) a free trial with lovefilm. Can I sign up for another free trial with them or any other company I have had a free trial with before, as long as the promotion code is different?

Tesco DVD rental is supplied by LOVEFiLM and the prices work out cheaper along with clubcard points.

Code for 2 months free is TDR297 - go to https://www.tesco.com and then to the DVD Rental menu in the entertainment section.

My friend has given me a code for MyMoviestream. He says you get a 2 week trial and a free DVD. I have visited their website and cannot find anything about a free DVD, only the trial. Anyhows, here's the code:

Don't touch mymoviestream with a barge poll. I never got the free DVD and they're still saying they haven't received my last 2 DVDs despite sending me emails that they have! They never have the films you select so send you ones you didn't order. A dreadful company - I'm back with Lovefilm.
