Hello lovely people
Does anyone have an idea or experience of how long it should take Barclays to produce a lower revised mortgage offer?
Any advice appreciated!
Cheers,
DC x

We're waiting on a Barclay's BTL offer for a week.
The valuation (which took 2 weeks from application) happened last Tuesday. On Friday our broker said that Barclays told him that the mortgage is agreed but they won't be able to produce the actual mortgage offer because of a technical glitch at their end which will take at least 4-5 days (!) to resolve. He said Barclays are notorious for these kind of issues. We'e still waiting.
I don't know if that might affect you as well but thought you might want to know.dirtycredit wrote: »Hello lovely people

Not a revised offer but I'm waiting on offer.
Application fully submitted on 14th and have just had some queries back via broker on one or two things.
Some posts I read they're fairly quick, others say notoriously slow.0 -
Thanks for the replies! I can't get a straight answer from Barclays. I'll just keep my fingers and toes crossed for now.
Good luck with both of your purchases!

Now that I've responded to their queries, they've been quick. They requested details on Wed and called my broker yesterday for further info so now seems to be moving.0
