Tax credits award for Leeds full application

Hello,
Secured a AIP from Leeds for my shared ownership mortgage.
Does anyone know if the will need my tax credit award notice to verify the income for it to pass affordability?
Reason I ask is that I don’t have a copy, I contacted HMRC today to be told it is a 4 week wait for new award notices as it’s renewal time and they are extremely busy.
The house we are looking to reserve has an exchange of contract in 28 days.
Should I postpone & hope the house does not sell of will Leeds accept transactions on bank statements of tax credits?
