DIY calendar

Options
Hi.
Not sure what forum to put this but does anyone know where I can get a DiY photo calendar?
I know that a lot of photo shops produce a customised calendar, and I have seen DIY ones where you put the whole page in your own printer and print out your desired month and picture but what I am after is slightly different.
Last year I was sent a calendar from germany. Every month was printed on dark blue thick card with slits cut into it to insert your own photos, of various sizes. It had a much more 'personal, home made' feel to it (maybe because the card is matt and not a page full of gloss) and I guess would be much cheaper than a photo calendar from snapfish or boots etc, but where can I get one?
thanks

I bought a large A3 size one and a slimline one last year and put all photos of a celeb that my OH is into.

    He loved it!

ETA... Sorry, have just read your post properly and I doubt this is what you are looking for...!

    The A3 sized calendar takes photos just smaller than A4 - 27.5 x 18cm.

    The slimline takes photos 16 x 12cm.
  • They had thee in Lidls a couple of weeks back for 1.99. May be worth trying a large Lidls as they may have these in stock [we have a few in Bristol and the bigger stores will normally have stock from the offers for a couple of weeks longer, hth.
  • thanks Shelby. I checked my local lidl last night by no luck. I get their email offers but never noticed the calendars.
  • Depending on your PC's operating system & if you have a printer, Why not buy a cheap copy of Microsoft Publisher. It has ideas for calendars, just pick the layout you require, add photos from your document folder, and print on to A4 paper or A4 photo pper for a pro finish. easy
