You can enter each contest round a maximum of 3 times free online.

The first draw opens 6am Monday 20th May. Entry to the first draw will close at 3pm on Tuesday 21st May.
Subsequent draws:
Tuesday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Monday, closes at 3pm Tuesday
Wednesday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Tuesday, closes at 3pm Wednesday
Thursday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Wednesday, closes at 3pm Thursday
Friday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Thursday, closes at 3pm Friday
Monday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Friday, closes at 3pm Monday

The presenter will call the randomly selected number live on air (please note this could be from a withheld number) after 3pm.

The entrant must answer the phone within 5 rings,
and the first words they speak must be
"The Good Times Sound Like This"
in order to be declared the winner.

Should the entrant fail to answer the phone, or answer the phone beginning with any other words (including other words before the correct words, such as "Hello. The Good Times Sound Like This"), they will not win the prize. If the call goes to voicemail, even if the pre-recorded voicemail messages starts with "The Good Times Sound Like This", this will be judged as a failure to answer and no prize will be awarded.

When a winner is declared, a new prize amount will be announced for the next draw. This will be communicated on air.

If there is no winner, the prize will roll over to the next contest round, and it will be communicated on air if an additional amount of money will be added to the pot.
All entries eligible for the previous draw will be eligible for the next draw whether there is a winner or not, but you can enter again if you want.

The prize amount will have been specified on-air each time there is on-air communication about Competition entry.

but you don't have to state the amount when you answer the phone so it doesn't really matter (particularly as every entry counts to all the remaining draws so you could have 15 entries in play by the 5th day)

I wonder why the Hits Radio Scotland comp is area restricted to Scotland but the Hits Radio England comps doesn't mention any restrictions. A bit one sided.

When the last Cash Register Competition closed in Scotland it continued in England for 3+ weeks, which you probably know if you were entering both. They must have given away about half a million in that period as it was in high twenties then high thirties and a final big bonus amount. Can't say that was fair either. Good luck. Hope we both win. I am only entering Scottish one as they don't have the phrase to say and I would feel like an idiot saying the phrase and it was the wrong competition phoning me. Though maybe worth it for big money lol.

The English version of Cash Register starts next Monday 27th May. They have a guaranteed £1 million to give away, so based on an average daily amount of £25,000 it will be on for at least 40 days.
