What's Missing Thread: Techie Stuff

After the hardware failure earlier this week & problems seeing old threads/posts before 29 June.

What's happening with the Forums

To find the threads pre 29th June you can Google search the thread title, don't click on the link that comes up but click on the "Cached" link underneath and you'll find the posts.

eg. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=How+often+do+you+back+up%3F+site%3Aforums.moneysavingexpert.com&btnG=Search&meta=
(this searches: "How often do you back up? site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com" & restricts search to MSE forum pages)

You can then save the thread or post using "File, Save As" (as the Google cached page doesn't last) just in case the original threads cannot be restored or until they are.
