Flours risen another 15%

Just done Mr T's - best time to doing when it's raining cats and dogs and blowing a gale - hardly anyone there :D

BUT, the 3kg Allinson's bread flour that has been £1.99 for weeks has suddenly this week shot up to £2.29

I'm glad I stocked up a couple of weeks ago!

But, bonus, the twin pack of Kleenex tissues is half price at £1.55.

  • my baker told me a few weeks ago to expect another price increase on the bread as the flour was going up again......a loaf has now gone up another 8p bringing it to £1.18

plus i would not be supprised if it goes up again.... due to the petrol price hikes lately.....

I couldn't believe the price of petrol (£1.02 ltr) & diesel (£1.06 ltr) yesterday!! It is appalling!!!

I'm doing a shop later so will be stocking up on flour some more!!

Pigpen, if you've enough flour in, I'd wait a couple of weeks - there may be a special offer coming up.
