Good morning all
I am pretty new to competitions and after entering a variety over the past received an email from CLC World Travel Centre stating that I had Won 1 week accommodation up to the value of £1000 for a variety of resorts. I was sent a confirmatory email with a link to a free £75 shopping voucher. When I spoke to the customer service team they insisted on making a 1.5 hour appointment to discuss which resort we could book (although we have to pay for our own flights) and a friend has researched the company and believes they are a time share company (which is no crime obviously) and that I should proceed with caution. Anyone else had similar dealing and can offer advice? Any tips would be greatly received.

Your friend is right to advise caution. They are indeed a timeshare company and you will be given a hard sell. If you use the search function on MSE to search for CLC, you will get numerous results where this company has been discussed before.0
