Anyone bought anything from Beterati?

Hi

Thinking of buying a Sony Bravia KDL-40X3500 LCD TV, but they're not cheap.....around 1700 pounds in UK. However Google also came up with the following store in Gibraltar/Italy which sells it for only 979 pounds + 45 pound shipping + no duty to pay:

But i'm not sure if thise 'store' is legitimate or not as they don't accept credit cards or paypal which offer protection:

DO NOT USE BETERATI Sadly I am one of those early mugs that have been ripped off by them. I exchanged a number of emails with their customer service department because I felt weary of the payment methods. However, all of the responses seemed very profession. I then went ahead with the order, receieved payment instructions and once transfer was completed even received a payment received invoice and order update... BUT THAT WAS IT.... Nothing else and now no goods, no response to emails, impossible to leave testimonial feedback, the phone number doesnt work. A seperate email from a different user was sent to entice another sale...it got an immediate response bit then when approached about my outstanding order..once again NOTHING. So yep...the long and short im £1000 out of pocket, no TV and a crap xmas coming my way. I have informed Western Union, The Web Hosting and Domain Hosting companies, Brand companies etc. UOS and FEDEX say they have NEVER shipped for them. The sad thing is I appear to be the only person shouting out about this...I cant be the only one im sure but i guess others are too embarressed to admit it. Im just seriosuly angry and upset for the forth-coming crap xmas now install. Anyhow, hope this helps you guys to avoid a similar situation. Regards Shaun

Thanks for the info Shaun and sorry to hear about your experience. Well i think the absence of credit card payments on their website was a big clue, so glad i didn't bother.
