Help To Buy. Can you borrow more?

Hi there,
We currently have a Help to Buy mortgage with the Halifax.
I have a Tesco credit card which has 8k currently on it. The 0% deal has just ended and the monthly payment has increased significantly.
I'm looking at adding this to our mortgage to lower outgoings.
Can you borrow more on your help to buy mortgage?
We are up for renewal in 3 months time.

No you cannot consolidate debt into your mortgage whilst you are benefitting from the Help to Buy Scheme.I am a Mortgage Broker
