Is it worth doing mystery shopping, if Im on benefits?

I just what would I have to do, I wanted to try some mystery shopping, Ive already got the site links, do I have to tell the DWP. Would it hugley affect my benefits, is it worth the faffing around?

    Sorry I have no idea but in theory I would expect it could effect your benefits as your income would increase.

    Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

    you would have to notify dwp but because it's not a regular income it depends on what you get how it affects you. What benefits do you receive?

    For single people I think the allowed income is £5/week
  • How would MS affect benefits if you just chose cafe or food jobs that you don't get paid for, just reimbursed? Does this count as income or is it a free way to eat out with your kids/partner?
    Got £820 back from HSBC! Now entering comps like mad with the hope of winning a nice long holiday....
  • Necessary expenses (such as the cost of a meal) don't count as income and don't need to be declared. So yes, you could eat out free/cheap. Any payment for the job needs to be declared though - even if it's only a fiver! And don't claim the full expense allowance if you don't use it up, unless you're prepared to declare the excess as income.
