BR with a CCJ on the files

Pre-BR a ccj was issued to my mate
all his debts are now showing "satisfied" but the CCJ isnt
can he get the ccj wiped?

Yes he can, he needs to speak to his OR about it.
If you go Bankrupt all the unsecured debts that you owe including any CCJs are included.
Judgments that have been issued against you for unsecured debts are overturned. ... You are no longer allowed to make direct payments to any of your unsecured creditors.

The County Courts answer..
"Er yeah, while your bankrupt your safe but they can chase you for payment once your discharged"...
Insolvency Service (oddly) disagreed....0 -
When you say 'wiped' do you mean 'removed from credit file?
The answer is no - it stays for 6 years from when it was granted
If you mean 'made no longer legally liable'?
The answer is yes - bankruptcy covers most ordinary debts that would be subject to a ccj.0 -
As all his other debts are "satisfied" even before his discharge he wondered about the CCJ0

My CCJ shows as "Active" on my Credit File, surely it should show "Satisfied" as per the other creditors?0
