Smashing Pumpkins have just announced a UK Arena tour for February 2008 including dates at Glasgow's SECC (Feb 12th 2008), Nottingham Arena (Feb 14th), Manchester MEN Arena (Feb 15th) and London's O2 Arena (Feb 16th).
Tickets go on sale this Friday November 16 @12 noon from TicketMaster
Smashing Pumpkins have already made a rapturous return to the live arena with a number of shows across North America and Europe in 2007. The band's recent album ‘Zeitgeist’ has already been a global success and debuted at #4 in the UK album charts.
Smashing Pumpkins have created one of the most acclaimed bodies of work in music history. Formed in Chicago in 1988, they released ‘Gish’, their influential (and platinum) debut in 1991, which was followed by more platinum and multi-platinum albums including ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’ and ‘Siamese Dream’.
