Im Sure EventSec are who look after Silverstone. Definitely worth a call.
    Thanks

I would question whether eventsec would provide dogsbody labour for Silverstone - they have their own zero hours stewarding ads at the bottom of this page: https://www.silverstone.co.uk/jobs/

hi I've just started working for eventsec, only done 2 shifts so far. but so far so good. You get to pick/bid on the jobs on the dates that suit you but you are also expected to be available for there big events and on bank holidays.
  • Just a quick update for those why took time to reply.

i applied to G4S mid May for a world cup steward and have only just done my first shift for them!! Jeez did they learn nothing from the Olympics?? I workrd at egbaston on sunday at the T20 cricket, easy days work and I even managed to get involved with looking after the World Cup which was on display there and available for photos etc. Im at the Alex Stadium at the next weekend working at the British Athletics and am hoping to go down to Lords for a couple of days for the last Ashes test

Ive got an interview planned with BCFC soon although i've already had a meeting with their safety manager whos given me a heads up so thats positive and as Coventry City FC are playin there this year that should double the work I get to do.

I want to speak to EventSec but im a little put off by their website which just seems to be totally Irish based with very little refernce to working elswhere in the uk and i will get around to talking to OCS soon who i think look after the NEC.

Its only pocket money so ive not put much time into chasing stuff as ive had a busy summer but thank to those of you who gave advice

Hey thanks for this. i have looked at their website and it seems to be all Irish orientated. That and not recognising the branding and im wondering if its the right company. if it is right tthen there is no recruitment happening right now so ill keep my eyes on whats going on.

And thanks for the input BTW. messd this post the first time around so have only just seen it
