in Cutting tax
Hi
I am UK resident I have inherited a reasonable amount of money from an uncle in the iom. Would anyone be able to tell me if I will have to pay UK tax on it when it is paid into my account here, I ask this as inheritance tax will obviously have not been paid on the island.
Hoping someone will be able to help.
Cheers

no
just the same as you, as the recipient, would not pay tax on an inheritance from someone who died anywhere else in the world.0
