My oven died last week, forcing me to spend more time looking into oven pricing than I ever had heretofore. I thought I'd share the result of my digging. If like me you have to replace a single built in oven, or you want to upgrade your existing one for a pyrolytic self cleaning one, John Lewis are offering a £100 pound trade-in and waiving their usual £20 free for carting your old one away for recycling on this Zanussi model, reducing the cost of new oven + disposal of old one from £399 to £279. This is the best deal I could see on a pyrolytic oven, so I've gone for it.
