Credit check before completing

Okay, I am assume I'm worrying about nothing, but I know you aren't supposed to apply for credit before completing but I just ordered my BT line/broadband and remembered its a credit check. :(

I have been approved for my mortgage and we are expecting to complete next week or early the following week. Please tell me its nothing to worry about.

    It's nothing to worry about. Normally takes a while to show on your credit report anyway.

    Its nothing to worry about, l think as long as your not applying for 15 credit cards and loans it won't have any significant change to your current report.

    Hi

    How did it go in the end? I am completing in two weeks and want to secure BT sign up now (to make the most of Black Friday), but am scared about the credit check!

    My mortgage offer is with Santander and I think I was quite near the affordability threshold for the mortgage offer.
