Hi All!
Starting to get the layout sorted, for real, on our http://www.theupsidedownhouse.9f.com & starting to discover things that looked OK on plan, are nOT, in real life!!
We built a cupboard, in the bathroom, to put them in - result is making what will be a smart n stylish room, too cramped & just 'wrong'.
We don't like the idea of £$£$ on a integeral washer in the kitchen & dryer in garage.
Mrs V doesn't want it in the bedroom, in a cupboard.
Water supply & drainage for both in garage, isn't practical.
So how about building a cupboard for them, under the clear space, below the extension? If insulated, it'd just be the awkard trek, to the storage area (which it will become) to fill & empty the appliances.
Thanks in advance!
VB

We have a functional utility area at the back of our detached garage. Sink, washing machine, tumble drier and a loo + hand basin. It works well for us because we have a doggy/horsey/old cars way of life . Concrete floor so mud allowed. A couple of paces walk from house to garage but no big deal and a fair swap for keeping so much 'grot' out of the house.

Utility room for us!
Washing maching, drier and even an old fridge that hubby uses to store his beers. The dog has a basket in there too!My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.-Erma Bombeck-~ Member of the MSE Celebdaq Minileague ~0
