    even if the interest only mortgage were missold you would not get a free house

    sorry to burst your bubble on that one.

    Do you have the difference between the interest only and repayment mortgage figures stashed away? If so why not pay a lump sum off the mortgage and then pay the difference between the interest only and repayment mortgage into the mortgage each month?

  • I agree with the points made here.
    Buying a property is the biggest purchase we make, and as such we listen to our advisors but, it's up to us to carry out our own due diligence on all matters too.
