Post-bankruptcy - Big bank credit cards

Just a thought here - would be interested to hear any other people's experiences.

Has anyone been through bankruptcy with any of the big banks - for example - HSBC, Lloyds, Natwest etc - and then later down the line after 6 years, and the bankruptcy is gone from your credit file, then successfully gotten a card back with the original banks they once went bankrupt with? I'm wondering if although it's no longer on your credit history - whether they still hold a grudge against you long after you've cleaned everything up (assuming of course you've been well behaved and have built up a good record with the credit building cards such as Vanquis or Aqua) - or whether they see it as a clean slate, and assuming you've been good - let you start again...

Not with the big banks but I included capital one in bankruptcy and approx 1 year after discharge they gave me a card with a £1500 starting limit.
