IVA increase even though Im Homeless

Just got a new job, and based on whatever values my OR send me an email saying I will be "asked to pay £600" based on my sulprus income.
I told him that Im homeless and I will need a car while im on probation at my work without making any income/expense form.
What am I supposed to do with this information? There surley has to be some settling time while I moved to a new town for a new job and actually figure out my expenses.
What am I supposed to do in situation like this when Im now being put under incredible stress?
Edit 1: It's IPA not IVA

It's an IVA, 'voluntary'. You can come out of it if it's not working or you can usually miss 3 payments before it fails, so I'd be inclined to get moved/settled (& with house deposit/car you may just need to miss a payment anyway) then give them your new house SOA asap & get back on track.
Keep them informed hopefully they won't be too stalkery while you get sorted.

Hi Annie,
May fault in the thread title, It's actually IPA not IVA, would this legally make a big difference?
I'm going to see CBA in my situation, just wondering what my basic protection is.0 -
Hi,
You need to post your SOA (or proposed expenses) on here for us to look at:
http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php - this is good one and has a 'post to MSE' button at the bottom.

AH yes massive difference.
The quicker you get yourself sorted the less interference you'll get.
Get an updated SOA (can you assume your housing costs, average costs of bills or usual room rent for your area. Petrol mileage, car maintenance etc. Don't underestimate but most costs can be guestimated quite accurately, post here for debt doctor etc to check over)
Currently if all you have told your OR is you're getting a £600pm pay rise, they will want it! Get back to them with your new costs soa & all being well that'll be that :beer:0 -
