Santander still sending letters 9 years after bankruptcy

I was declared bankrupt in Jan 2010 and discharged 12 months later.
I am still receiving "Notice of sums in arrears" letters from Santander's Collections & Recoveries dept. twice a year.
They are the only one of my creditors that does this and it is distressing me.
I phoned them a few years ago & they said the letters are just a formality & I can ignore them.
However I suffer from clinical depression & every time these letters hit the floor, I get stressed & upset at the memory of what was a very tough part of my life.
How can I stop them doing this & is there any way of being compensated for the distress this causes?
Thanks for for any help

They can clearly cancel any process that is causing them to be auto sent. Tell them formally to remove you from their systems and don't settle for a no.
In-terms of distress, I doubt you will be due anything until you start a formal complaint process and they fail to act.0 -
Have you done a credit file clean up? That should help too0
