Hi
Has anyone got any recommendations for tests for these based on experience? I'd rather see someone eg a doctor even privately to get the tests done or are there any reliable kits that can be done?

I do not think that blood tests are very accurate because the body tries to maintain a constant blood level even when there is a wider deficiency. Deficiencies are far more widespread than is generally known because of an ever increasing Liver detox burden due to Increase Digestive Permeability which affects everyone to some degree. Nutrient requirements sky rocket in such cases.
Genetic testing can enable a tendency towards higher nutrient requirements. MTHFR SNP's can mean a higher than normal requirement and an inability to use common synthetic folic acid. There are other things which can indicate a higher requirement for certain nutrients or even a problem with certain nutrients such as Iron with Haemochromatosis.

Other testing is sometimes used to get a background picture. For minerals hair mineral analysis is sometimes used but the methods are not always reliable due to how they do it.0 -
Thank you both. It's for a family member who just will not eat fruits, etc. but is often in a bad/depressed mood. Was getting the most awful cramps but started taking magnesium which really helped. I think there must be other things that he is deficient in that would help with mood, etc.0
