Mortgage Application photo ID

Hi, I'm applying to remortgage my house and require photo ID. My passport as ran out and my driving license photo card has still got my old address on, only just realised. I've applied to have it updated to my current address, but can take 3-4 weeks. Anyone any ideas how I can get round this to get the mortgage application started?

Thanks Paul

Just wait for it to come back, as you don't have any faster options. It only took a few days whenever I've done it.

The licence doesn't take long to come back.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Ok, seems quite along process though as I didn't have a printer at the time of submitting my change of address, so dvla have firstly got to send me this before changing my address on the card. Could take 3-4 weeks.

    Thanks

Get the form from the post office.

Don't think that'll help, from what I can work out it's a printout of what I filled out online, so I guess it needs a signature then send it back. Didn't know if anyone else used different photo ID to driving licence when applying for a mortgage.

Or beg/borrow/pay for the use of somebody else's printer.

Or just get one - there may be other things you'll want to print during the process.

You can only print out at the time you filled in the online form, you can't go back and print. I have a printer but I filled the change of address forms out on my phone at work, so it's not an option now. It's a right job.

youd think there would be other photo ID accepted or even the driving license with my old address on as it still shows my face.
