It must be easy to be itv daytime presenter be it on GMB/Lorraine/this morning or loose women seems anyone can go on these shows and present it even when the regulars are off there is unknowns or one time presenters that anyone can do the job
so my question is like must be easy to be ITV daytime presenter because you get the full 6 weeks off during the summer
full 2 weeks off at easter and xmas and even get time off during half terms so you get same holidays as schools plus u only do 1/2/3hrs a day job with 6 figure salary for doing !!!!!! all

Off you go then.
If they have unknowns on and there's so little to it, now's your chance. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
WILL DO
if u watch this morning program or even lorriane or GMB they have likes of richard bacon or adil ray, or even people like rylan or people like basically anybody can do this morning program
cushy lifestyle with same holidays as the schools which I don't understand that if u work for ITV how is it you get the same term time holidays as the schools0 -
daytime tv is dross......in my humble opinion.
Be better off showing public information programs on subjects such as Keep Britain Tidy,Road Safety, contraception, manners and everything else that is now almost extinct.
Daytime TV viewers would be perfect recipiants for this type of information.
In my humble opinionKeep in your thoughts the poor Beasts of burden around the World and curse All who do them harm.0 -
You forgot to mention their clothes and hair allowance which is more than some people earn each week.0

3hrs a day, yeah right.
You do realise that it is more than just turning up to a studio, waffling on for three hours and going home again?
There is rehearsals to do, briefings so you know what's coming up, what else in the pipeline, and then have the ability to talk ten to the dozen while somebody else is talking to you while simultaneously trying not to stand there looking gormless. It is not a case of turn up for work at 10:25am, do This Morning and then go home at 12:30pm - a start time of closer to 8am would be more realistic, as would a finish of probably 3pm.
Even the breakfast TV people presenters turn up for work at 4:30am - the crew are probably there even longer, possible still there at teatime.
Most presenters are self employed, so they don't "get" a predetermined period of time off like you and I.0 -

but you are not paid to attend meetings or attend pre shows etc
plus u are paid once u go live and even after rehersal live tv goes wrong plus you know these shows don't last forever itv have a schedule and makes sense to turn up as u please 10:30aM THEN go home once the program is over
once the credit roll wish my life can be like tv as soon as a program ends I can turn my life off like a tv0 -

And as well as all that, they're pretty much all self employed on contracts, usually fixed term.
So no paid hols, no pension contributions, no employees rights, no sick pay, no long term guarantees.0 -
But genuinely O/P - you think its so simple, you go for it!
I look forward to seeing you on TV soon. :beer:0 -

regardless of all that they all have jobs for life like when will they all retire or die as cant be going and keep doing this forever they need to quit and or retire
we all die eventually so either itv daytime gets cancelled or bring in younger presenters to repalce the aging more wrinkly presenters like old women langsford or old women kelly0
