tesco deliveries for christmas??

Just thinking about christmas this afternoon and I was wondering if anyone knows when I can order the tesco food shopping for the 22/23rd, weekend before christmas??

Every year I go on and they are booked up for then :mad: This year I wanna book the slot for then. Do you have to go when they are put on?? I know you can order 3 weeks before, but its only up to 7 th dec at minute

I would guess in a couple of weeks, as it's only going up to 7th december currently, a case of keep checking i guess

Hi, I think you'll find that they release the dates exactly three weeks ahead, so you need to be on the site at midnight. Check a few days before but also be aware that some stores stop deliveries in the days leading up to Christmas, especially the weekends. Also beware that they run out of a lot of stuff so they may not have everything you need at the time it is picked. Saying that I get my shopping delivered every month and think it's great!

Hi just to let you know , i actually work in Tesco home delivery dept. and dont know the shopping dates as yet, but if there is anything you want especially please order early as we get your products off the shop floor the same as evry other shopper and they christmas stock does sell out very quickly.

Last year my store stopped delivering on the Friday before christmas (mon) but they delivered wine on the sat to my sis and brother in law.Mind you they had everything in stock and I was much happier than the year before when I had to go out xmas eve rooting for stuff.

thank you for your help. I normally order from tesco weekly, as I work 32 hours a week, so its difficult to get there.

I did think last year, that people must stay up till midnight and book the friday before christmas shopping slots. This year I am determined to book one of those, so will get my diary out and look at which thursday night i will have to stay up:eek: (thanks for tip jacqui)

I am right next door to a local farm shop that sells organic veg, so will get my brussells from there, so I should be ok!!

According to the website the last day for grocery deliveries is the 23rd December.
