I've had two applications go through with Aldermore in the last 2-3 months, and had read all the horror stories but my MB informed me nothing to worry about.

First application was going through fine but the Valuation on the property "failed" it come back with too many issues and Aldermore wanted further checks/security before it was progressed (had major subsidence etc) so we had to scrap it and start again with another app.

It pretty much went from Application to Offer within the Month. When I've spoken to them on the Phone they have been nothing but nice, more so as I've recently had to ring up to possibly amend my affordability/terms of mortgage as our House sale may fall through (we have the funds gifted for the purchase but our affordability will be higher for a few months until our sale goes through) They made no promises but are looking into it.

    Any updates from anyone?

My application went in on Tuesday morning, they have charged the valuation fee and done a full credit check the same day. Just waiting to hear now.
