Hi,
I was watching Rachel Allen on BBC1 this morning but misssed the recipe for the soup she made. It looked delish and I want to give it a go. BBC website doesn't have it but said all recipes from the series are in her book.
In true MSE style I don't want to buy the book for 1 recipe so is anyone willing to share it with me??
Thanks in advance!

I missed the beginning of the show, but the toffee sauce she made looked lush.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

Didn't see the programme, but if you Google Potato leek blue cheese soup, quite a few recipes come up0
-
I only caught bits of it but she used 300g leeks, 200g potatoes, litre chicken stick and 200g blue cheese.
Sorry can't be much more use but i was on the phone at the same time.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

I have often put a bit of stilton in at the end of making a veggie soup - gives a fantastic flavour!
I think it was mostly one of those random soups where you use a few things up, but once I tried a carrot/onion/parsnip combination with stilton and this was great!0
