Claims company saying you were miss sold?

It seems that even the FSCS is calling them out on their "spurious" claims.

If you believe you have been miss sold, speak to the company directly. You get to keep 100% of any claim, no risk of being liable for costs to these claims companies and your details are not being sold off to the highest bidder.

I would 100% prefer any of my customers to get in touch with me directly so we talk through everything if they believe I have done something wrong.

    What a surprise....

    There is currently a daytime TV advert that goes on about so many thousands of people they are dealing with but no successes mentioned.

    Someone who knows a bit more about these things said that the CMCs who deal in these areas know there is a low success rate but dont need success to make money. They either sell them off to solicitors in packages. Or, now that solicitors have realised they are getting no value in them, they are crowdfunding investors in litigation. It it will be the crowfunders that lose money.

    The more people a claims company has as potential complaints, the greater amount it is likely to raise via crowdfunding. ANd by the time those investors want their money back, there will be little or nothing left.
