Get loads of notifications on facebook saying I've become a top fan, claim badge...etc. I've done a few but would be there forever if I did every one of them. Is it worth doing, do you think we are more likely to win a competition if we do?

I doubt it as they seem to give them out for just a couple of posts

On the Facebook app, on the notification at the right hand side there will be 3 dots. Click there and go to "turn off notifications of this type."

I always accept these though, just to make me stand out a little from others entering.

I know I can turn notifications off but just wondered if it is worth accepting the badge as may make comment more prominent to the page

If the competition is run properly it makes no difference - as to non-random selection maybe a site would rather select non-fans to spread the word better than selecting existing fans who are already committed to the brand anyway.
